Property and construction consultancy, Ingleton Wood, has been appointed onto the NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) Construction Consultancy Services framework for a further four years. This will see IW providing a wide range of services including architecture, building surveying, mechanical and electrical services, quantity surveying and structural engineering. Typical projects within the framework include operating theatres, fracture clinics, ward refurbishments and urgent care centres.
Colchester Borough Council is delighted to announce the restoration of an iconic historic building, which is set to rise from the ashes. Over the last two years the council has been working with partners to rebuild the former Garrison Gym, a 19th Century building in Circular Road South following a devastating fire in 2013. The building is on the council’s list of historic buildings and assets which are locally protected.
Colchester Borough Council is set to demolish St. James’s House, in a move that will further regenerate and revitalise St. Botolph’s area of the town. Anglia Demolition will demolish the building, which has stood unused for many years.
