The tech sector in Essex is absolutely thriving and our county is right at the heart of the tech revolution happening across the UK.

To celebrate our thriving tech sector, last year we created the Ambitious Essex Tech 50. We’ve refreshed the list for 2025, showcasing the most innovative and exciting tech businesses operating in Essex right now.

The Ambitious Essex Tech 50 is a list of the most innovative and exciting tech businesses based in Greater Essex. It shows the value of tech is not just for the sector itself, but in supporting innovation in other industries such as manufacturing, energy and more.
